Rosemarie Fusco, AICP, MURP Joins GZA as Planner and Project Manager

亚星游戏官网lcome to Rosemarie Fusco, AICP, MURP, who has joined our Providence Office as a planner and project manager, specializing in coastal zone management and comprehensive planning for coastal communities. She joins GZA鈥檚 growing Planning Practice led by Kevin Williams, AICP, PP in our Fairfield, NJ office.
Previously, she led data collection for the Military Installation Resilience Review at Naval Station Newport, fostering relationships with various research institutions across the state. Across a decade of experience with roots in historic preservation work, Rosemarie has collaborated with public and private clients on projects ranging from small sites to large-scale initiatives, specializing in resilience to natural hazards and infrastructure planning, public works, parks, and master planning.
Rosemarie has experience in collaboration with councils, attorneys, clients, and federal agencies, and is experienced in stakeholder and community engagement programming. She has worked with NOAA, the Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Committee on Maritime Transportation on port planning and presented on seaport resilience internationally, such as at SeaTrade Cruise Global. She currently holds a B.A. from the Pratt Institute and Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida and is in the final stages of her PhD from the University of Rhode Island, utilizing thematic coding and qualitative methods to explore how incentives influence ports and harbors, focusing on policy impacts, business models, and resilience in planning.
